Seeded dust covers
Seeded Dust Covers — Packaging with a Second Life
Our seeded dust covers are made in the UK from recycled cotton paper and embedded with a blend of native wildflower seeds. Instead of being discarded, they can be planted to grow into colourful wildflowers that support the environment long after your candle has finished. Wildflowers are naturally occurring plants that flourish without the need for chemicals, making them a vital part of a healthy ecosystem. By blooming into nectar-rich flowers, they provide essential food and shelter for bees, butterflies, ladybirds and other pollinators—helping protect the wildlife that keeps our natural world thriving. Choosing plantable packaging is a simple, meaningful step toward reducing waste, nurturing biodiversity and giving nature more room to flourish.

How, When & Where to Plant
You can plant your seeded dust cover indoors at any time of year.
1. Tear your dust cover into small pieces.
2. Soak the pieces in a little water for a few seconds.
3. Fill a small pot with soil, or even your empty candle container, almost to the top.
4. Place the damp paper pieces on the soil.
5. Cover them with around 1 cm of soil.
6. Water gently and keep the soil moist (avoid overwatering).
7. Put the pot in a bright, sunny spot indoors.
8. Watch for shoots to appear within a few days.

9. Replant outdoors in Spring or Autumn when the roots are strong and the plant looks established.

Plant them in your garden, a larger pot, or a wild patch outdoors—and enjoy watching your packaging bloom into life while giving local wildlife a helping hand.
